No holiday or self-help book shall go unmined by the romantic comedy genre, and so it is that Reese Witherspoon has signed onto an adaptation of Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus, which will be directed by commercials helmer Bryan Buckley. Still unclear: Whether the film will be an ensemble feature akin to the underperforming What to Expect When You’re Expecting, or Buckley and Witherspoon will run with the promise in that title and make it a sci-fi origin story.
