Stand-ups on Conan don’t have to use microphones. It’s disarming at first. Without a microphone, stand-up doesn’t feel like a performance as much as a guy talking while everyone looks at him. So, instead of a mic, Rory brought a beer with him. It probably helped him build the courage necessary to take on the powerful people at Lunchables. #OccupyLunchables, amirite?
