L.A. police and the media have called off a manhunt for Katherine Jackson, who was reported missing yesterday by her nephew and grandchildren. In the end, it was just a case of poor intra-family communication and/or Internet access: Jermaine Jackson tweeted on Friday that “Mother is fine but is resting up in AZ on the order of a doctor.†Still, the news didn’t do much to reassure Paris Jackson, Michael Jackson’s daughter, who herself tweeted earlier this morning that “the same doctor that testified on behalf of dr murray saying my father was a drug addict (a lie) is caring for my grandmother… just saying.â€
