Geek lord Neil Gaiman is getting back to his comic-book roots with a return to The Sandman, he announced at Comic-Con yesterday. The new Sandman content will be a prequel miniseries that should come out in 2013, but DC has not announced a specific date or title just yet. By far the most extraordinary facet of this whole story is that actual comic-book news still comes out of Comic-Con.
