Even as he begins shooting, director Lee Daniels continues to cast up The Butler, and the latest to join the decades-spanning White House tale is Nelsan Ellis, who plays Lafayette on True Blood. Deadline reports that Ellis has been cast in the pivotal role of Martin Luther King Jr. Well, that’s at least one role Mariah Carey won’t be playing, then.
