Vulture is reporting that Mindy Kaling has agreed to a deal with NBC to come back for two episodes of The Office next season. It might be so she can be written off the show or to give her enough airtime to sustain her character until the show’s conclusion. Maybe Kelly will announce that she went to medical school and is going to be the subject of a new doctor documentary that is apparently shot not in a documentary-style but like a standard single-camera sitcom. In addition, FOX revealed today that The Mindy Project’s pilot along with Ben And Kate’s will debut online and on VOD from Aug. 27 to Sept. 9, before their September 25 television debuts. This marketing strategy was huge for The New Girl and likely will also be for this year’s adorkable crop of new shows.
