The Inbetweeners, which ran for three seasons and a movie in its native U.K., is being adapted for the big screen by Paramount. It’s an interesting move for an industry accustomed to grabbing British TV hits and turning them straight into American shows, except it’s a little less interesting considering Skins-adapting MTV has its own Inbetweeners launching in August. Series co-creator and The Inbetweeners Movie co-writer Iain Morris will write and direct the U.S. film.
