And the reality judge pop-star arms race continues! Us Weekly is reporting that Nicki Minaj has signed on to judge the next season of American Idol alongside Mariah Carey. (And at least one other yet-to-be-named new judge, but perhaps a Jonas. Or perhaps Keith Urban and Enrique Iglesias.) Minaj turned down X Factor back in April, but that was before Britney was offically onboard the Simon Cowel train, so, things in the celeb-o-sphere have changed. If this is the sort of expensive marquee casting required to keep increasingly dull reality shows on everyone’s radar … well, we accept.
