- Chloe Sevigny is going stop by Portlandia to play Fred and Carrie’s new roommate Alexandra. If you made a list of perfect Portlandia guest stars, Chlo-Sev had to be in the top seven, if not the top four.
- Little Britain’s Matt Lucas (aka the bald fellow in Bridesmaids) will be coming to Community to play Toby, a nerdish fellow who Abed meets at an Inspector Spacetime convention. The fast friends become faster friends when they learn they had previously “met†online. Sounds like a nice enough character, which makes me believe he will ultimately turn into a villain. A British villain. I smell a James Bond homage. It smells musky.
- Ben & Kate has cast Rob Corddry to play a guy at the bar at which two of the show’s leads work. Lucky for Corddry, the character is described as a “clown makeup faced bald man.†Congrats, Dry Cord.
- Jayson Blair, the man famous for plagiarizing stories in the New Yo– oh, never mind, it’s a different Jayson “I Spell My Name With A ‘Y’†Blair. This second Son of Jay has been upgraded from guest star to series regular on The New Normal. Jayson remarked that he’s going to use this extra money to buy another “Y†for his name. We’ll keep you posted (no we won’t) on whether he chooses to go with Jyayson or Jaysony.
