Even though that Big Thing That Happened on Sunday’s Breaking Bad wasn’t advertised in advance, fans somehow knew to tune in. Per Nielsen, the most recent installment of Bad was the show’s most-watched hour ever, with 3 million viewers. The series is doing particularly well with folks under 35 this season — Sunday’s episode averaged a 1.7 in that demo, up about 15 percent from last month’s season premiere. But Walter White’s got a big gender gap: Bad is doing about twice as well with men in most key demo groups and is losing badly to the Real Housewives and the Army Wives, at least in the overnight ratings.
