All that practice at pronouncing Michel Hazanavicius got pretty rusty after his Oscar win for Best Director in February, but now the French helmer behind The Artist is getting back into the Hollywood mix. He’s considering directing the Tom Hanks–starring In the Garden of Beasts, a project also reportedly in talks with Natalie Portman for the role of Hanks’s daughter. Beasts relates the true story of U.S. ambassador William Dodd’s experience in Hitler’s Germany in 1933.
