So, what did you send the Rolling Stones for their 50th anniversary? A gold lip statue? A gift certificate to Bath & Body Works? (Mick seems like a Country Apple guy.)  If you’re still on the fence, there are a couple suggestions hiding in “Gloom and Doom,†the Stones’ first new song in six years (off their latest greatest hits compilation, GRRR!.) One is a blowtorch or some other device with which to battle the undead beings mentioned in the first verse. And the other, unexpectedly, is a donation to the anti-fracking activist group of your choice. Seriously, the Rolling Stones are singing about zombies and fracking. Welcome to 2012.
