Spider-Man’s web just got a little more tangled: Variety reports that The Descendants actress Shailene Woodley is in talks to join the cast of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, where she’d play Mary Jane, Peter Parker’s eventual love interest after Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone). Director Marc Webb is also looking to cast Harry Osborn (the role James Franco played in Sam Raimi’s trilogy) for the sequel, as well as a main villain, rumored to be Electro. At least we know that Woodley will be able to go toe-to-toe with them.
