TV development season continues, and the latest person to sell a show is Zach Braff, star of Scrubs and Garden State (which he also wrote/directed). ABC has purchased a comedy to be written and directed by Braff called Garage Bar, and it follows a group of friends dealing with fame after one of them becomes a pop star, reports Deadline. No word yet on whether Zach Braff will star in the series, which, if it gets picked up, will be his first regular TV gig since leaving Scrubs in 2009. The show is a workplace comedy “with the heart and humor of… Garden State.â€Â If ABC makes Garage Bar into a series, you can expect to see it on your screens next fall and to hear the soundtrack on all of your coolest friends’ iPods around that same time.
