The low-rated but undercover-wonderful drama import The L.A. Complex has been canceled in Canada, the show’s production company tells THR. It’s technically possible that the series’ American broadcaster, the CW, could pick it up, but that seems like a real long shot given the show’s miniscule audience. Complex had it all: a brilliant faux-Scientology, surprisingly accurate portrayals of stand-up comedy, an endless parade of Canadian teen stars, and the trying-to-make-it-in-show-biz stories Smash would kill for. Sad, sad.
