Matthew McConaughey, Rachel Weisz, and Zero Dark Thirty Win New York Film Critics Circle Awards

It’s that time of year again, when New York film critics sit in a circle and give out accolades. Last year, the New York Film Critics Circle riled up a few folks by announcing their winners on November 28, before they could see Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close. This year, they were able to see everything. And by everything, we mean most of Matthew McConaughey’s body, as he surprisingly won Best Supporting Actor for his performances in Magic Mike and Bernie. The bigger winner was Zero Dark Thirty, which won for both Best Picture and Best Director (Kathryn Bigelow). Lincoln took in three awards, including Best Actor (Daniel Day-Lewis), Best Supporting Actress (Sally Field), and screenplay. Check out the full list of winners below.
