Following in the footsteps of her frequent collaborator Tina Fey, Amy Poehler just signed a book deal. AP reports that Poehler is writing a now-untitled memoir-ish book for HarperCollins’s pop culture imprint It Books, due out sometime in 2014. The publisher describes the book as “an illustrated, non-linear diary full of humor and honesty and brimming with true stories, fictional anecdotes and life lessons.†Fey’s Bossypants was a big hit, selling millions of copies since its release in 2011, and Poehler’s book could prove to be equally as popular but probably won’t have as many Alec Baldwin anecdotes.
