Young person Justin Bieber has been hinting about hosting SNL on Twitter the past week, and now, Billboard has confirmed that he’s set to be the host and musical guest for the show’s Feburary 9th episode to promote his new acoustic album. This will be Bieber’s second appearance on the show after serving as musical guest on an episode hosted by Tina Fey in 2010. He even appeared in a sketch in said episode, singing to Fey in a sketch where she played his schoolteacher (embedded below). Justin Bieber will be the third musician to host the show this season, which has been unusually saturated with singers-turned-hosts, following in the footsteps of Bruno Mars and Maroon 5’s Adam Levine, who is will serve as host (but not musical guest) on January 26th. NOTE: Seth MacFarlane doesn’t count as a musician-host because he is a comedy person first and a lounge crooner second.
