If all the pliés and relevés of Bunheads were not enough to satisfy your ballet needs, Starz is developing a ballet-set drama, too, the network announced today. And it’s waaaaay at the other end of the spectrum: The untitled show is described as “gritty†and “unflinching,†and follows a ballerina with a dark past who joins a fancy company in New York. The show comes from Breaking Bad co-executive producer Moira Walley-Beckett and Oscar-nominated producer Lawrence Bender, both of whom are former ballet dancers, so all your gross-out gnarly-foot-pain-porn dreams/nightmares are about to come true.
