The incessant promotion of Jimmy Kimmel’s new time slot keeps getting better and better. On the heels of Jennifer Aniston’s sledgehammer action Tuesday night, Will Ferrell made a surprise appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, made all the sweeter with the eye candy offered by scheduled guest Ryan Gosling. Apparently, Kimmel is now cutting into their three-month-old QVC knife show scheduled for 11:30 p.m. “You might want to check the sign-in sheet,†Ferrell scolded Kimmel. “I didn’t even know there was a sign-in sheet,†confessed Kimmel, innocently enough. “Well, there is, and my name is on it.†Gosling didn’t appreciate the toe-stepping, either. “What the hell are you doing here, Jimmy? … We sell knives at eleven-thirty. Everyone knows that.†And so, the predecessor continued, but this new late-night feud wasn’t bloodless. Watch how the Knife Guys’ resentment went down in the video, straight ahead.
