Two months ago, we told you that Kristen Wiig was in talks to join the cast of Anchorman 2. Well, it appears those talks have amounted to “Hey, Kristen Wiig, you’re now in this movie.†Christina Applegate tweeted, “So excited Kristen Wiig has joined our cast for anchorman2,†and so it was written. It was previously speculated that Wiig would play the love interest of Steve Carell’s character Brick Tamland, but this has not been confirmed. We hope this is the case, so in the middle of a love scene, Brick can turn on a light and say, “Let’s make this a three-way,†while winking at the love of his life, lamp.
