The Hollywood Reporter reports that Christina Applegate is in talks to star opposite Ed Helms in the reboot of Vacation. The film will follow Helms as Rusty Griswold, the son in the original films. Applegate will play his wife, who is not too into his shenanigans. Expect a lot of “Why couldn’t we just fly, Rusty?†“Then I couldn’t relive this comically awful trip I went on with parents — duh, wife character.â€
