We’ve seen piano-heavy teasers, a few fabulous set photos, and … not much else. Now we’ve got a real glimpse into Behind the Candelabra, with Michael Douglas as Liberace, Matt Damon as his young lover Scott Thorson, and even a criminally brief look at Rob Lowe as Liberace’s plastic surgeon. We’re already sad seeing Douglas and Damon quarrel in a damned trailer (the bubble bath shot?!) — soooo cannot wait to see the actual film. Steven Soderbergh’s latest debuts on HBO on May 26, less than 24 hours after Arrested Development premieres all its new episodes on Netflix. Banner weekend.
