J.J. Abrams, continuing to really earn his title of World’s Producingest Human, has acquired the rights to the final screenplay of Twilight Zone genius Rod Serling. The Stops Along the Way, which Serling finished just before he died in 1975, will be shopped around as a mini-series. Serling’s widow, Carol Serling, tells Variety that the story involves “a little bit of fantasy, a little bit of imagination [and] takes place over a long period of time,†though other details are still under wraps. Come on, it’s J.J. Abrams: The wraps are under wraps. And it’s inside a puzzle. And that puzzle is your heart.
