Comedy Central today announced a long list of big-name comedy people who will be guest starring on the network’s upcoming show Drunk History. Based on Derek Waters and Jeremy Konner’s Funny or Die web series of the same name and produced by Will Ferrell and Adam McKay, Drunk History follows intoxicated comedians recounting historical events to the best of their abilities while famous actors reenact the inaccurate history tales. Hosted by Waters, the show premieres July 9th at 10 and will travel to a different city each week and feature comedians like Kyle Kinane, Jen Kirkman, Natasha Leggero, and Jenny Slate talking about historical events like the rise and fall of Al Capone, the Watergate scandal, and the Battle of the Alamo.
