There was some talk about how Robert Downey Jr. wasn’t technically contracted for more Marvel movies. Well, fear not, ironmates, because Marvel announced today that Robert Downey Jr. has signed on to appear in both The Avengers 2 (a.k.a. The Avengerers) and The Avengers 3 (a.k.a. The Avengest). It was a logical move, considering how iconic he is in the role and the fact that The Avengers and Ironman 3 are two of the top five grossing films ever. Robert Downey Jr. confirmed he made $50 million for The Avengers, so congrats, RDJ, RDJ’s agents, and whoever is about get paid to build RDJ’s gold-coin-swimming pool.
