This fall, the tenth season of Seth MacFarlane’s American Dad (yes, that show has had ten seasons) will premiere on Fox. But that will be it for the show’s run on the network, because in 2014 the show’s eleventh season will air on TBS. It will be part of TBS’s continued push to establish itself as a home for cable comedy. Benefitting from Family Guy’s lead-in, American Dad averaged a 2.6 18 to 49 rating, which was worse than The Simpsons but better than Bob’s Burgers. Don’t worry, MacFarlane MacFans: Even with this moving and The Cleveland Show’s cancellation, Fox still has Family Guy and the MacFarlane-produced sitcom Dads. Though neither of those shows has a talking communist fish … yet.
