Variety reports that, having secured UFC star Ronda Rousey for the James Wan–directed Fast and Furious 7, Universal has now set its sights on Kurt Russell to fill a role that Denzel Washington turned down. There’s no word on the Death Proof star’s level of interest in the upcoming LA-based installment of the franchise, about which there are few details. Indeed, nobody even knows what the part would entail besides some quality time with Fast regulars Vin Diesel and Paul Walker.
