It’s been the subject of speculation for months: Who will be the twelfth Doctor Who? And is it time for a Doctor who is not a white man? Right now, oddsmakers apparently have The Thick of It’s Peter Capaldi as the likely choice, but we shall see. The timelord overlords will announce the new Who on Sunday at 2 p.m. Eastern on BBC America (well, BBC One in the U.K., but BBCA here in the States), and the unveiling special is only half an hour, which seems miraculously and mercifully short. Maybe it’s bigger on the inside.
