The home of this year’s MTV VMAs, Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, just tweeted a pic showing that Lady Gaga and Katy Perry (who are currently in a serious pop charts race for No. 1) will be sitting next to each other for Sunday’s big show. Will this be like the time Rihanna and Katy BFF’d it up during last year’s show? Or just a sign to the world that no matter whose album claims the top spot this fall (Katy’s, obviously) they’ll still be friends. Either way, prepare for great cut-away shots.
