Here’s another trailer for the J.J. Abrams book S., more elaborate but not much clearer than the first. There’s, uh, some dude in the ocean! And a scary clickity-clackety typewriter! And very haunting voice-over! Most important, that guy with the stitched-up, Hocus Pocus–style mouth is back. S. is apparently a book-within-a-book; it’s a mystery novel, but also two lovers’ correspondence about that novel, as well as various clippings and drawings about the story. Sounds elaborate! Warning: If you don’t like to see needles poking things, don’t watch the end of this video.
