The popular novel Sisterland is heading to TV, Deadline reports. Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage’s production company is behind the series, and Mistresses’ Rina Mimoun will adapt the book for the pilot, which has landed at ABC. The story centers on identical twin sisters who have psychic powers — powers that one of them embraces and publicizes, and that one tries to hide. Mimoun has a vastly underappreciated sisterhood show under her belt already: 2008’s short-lived CW show Privileged, which is still the best role Joanna Garcia’s ever had.
