As all men inevitably return to the boomsticks of their youth, so too might Sam Raimi return to direct Army of Darkness 2. When asked on Twitter who would be heading up the sequel, the director of this year’s Evil Dead remake Fede Alvarez claimed, “Sam Raimi will!†The fact Alvarez has his plate full with that Dante’s Inferno adaptation combined with rumors of Bruce Campbell’s involvement suggests a Raimi-lead Army of Darkness 2 might really be happening. Groovy.
