ABC has a few more sitcoms in the works for next year. One will follow “three long-lost basketball teammates who reconnect in their 60s and discover they still have a lot to learn about love and friendship,†according to Deadline. The shows comes from The Neighbors creator Dan Fogelman and The George Lopez Show co-creator Robert Borden. Fogelman is used to writing for older characters; he wrote the recent film Last Vegas which starred Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman, Michael Douglas and Kevin Kline.
Meanwhile, producers Kelly Ripa and husband Mark Consuelos have sold another sitcom to ABC. Poor Pam focuses  on a single and unemployed women “living in the shadow of her famous sister — everyone has it better than Pam. But that doesn’t get her down. Poor Pam always looks on the bright side of life, and she’s always ready to go another round, no matter how many times she gets dropped on her ass.†The show will be written by Andrew Leeds and David Lampson. Ripa and Consuelos’s production company sold another sitcom to ABC last month about a free-spirited single Mom in Brooklyn.
