Apparently if you tell a bunch of people that “God is about to drown everyone but my family and my pets,†they get pissed. That and all the stuff you remember from the Bible is the plot of Darren Aronofsky’s Noah. Russell Crowe, looking like he’s about to audition to play Jean Valjean (luckily, he is not), plays Noah. Anthony Hopkins plays Noah’s famously old grandfather, Methuselah, Jennifer Connelly plays Noah’s wife, and Emma Watson plays Noah’s adopted daughter. Recently, news came out that Paramount is not happy with Aronofsky’s edit, citing “worrisome results†and “troubling reactions.â€Â The film is supposed to come out on March 28, assuming there isn’t a population-ending flood or the studio demands reshoots.
