Louis C.K. will be staying at FX for a while. The comedian/filmmaker just signed a new multi-year deal with FX to exclusively develop pilots and potential series for the network (or new sister channel FXX) via his production company Pig Newton, Variety reports. Under the deal, C.K. will have the option to serve as writer and/or director on any projects he develops for FX in addition to executive producer duties. Although C.K. is bound to FX for future TV work, the deal allows him to go outside of the network to release his standup specials. C.K.’s show, Louie, is set to return to FX for a 13-episode fourth season in May.
