Back in August, a YouTube user uploaded some rare behind-the-scenes footage from Jerry Lewis’s unreleased 1972 film The Day the Clown Cried in which he stars as a clown in a concentration camp, and the same user posted two more clips on New Year’s Day. “You will never see it, no one will ever see it, because I am embarrassed at the poor work,†Lewis said of the film at Cannes last year, so these clips are probably the closest we’ll get to seeing this infamous film in its entirety.
