As if he has any free time these days, Seth MacFarlane somehow managed to write his first book. He authored a 208-page novelization of his next movie, A Million Ways to Die in the West. was co-written by MacFarlane and frequent collaborators Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild, but he wrote the book solo. MacFarlane also stars in the film as a sheep herder who falls in love with a woman (Charlize Theron), only to find her husband (Liam Neeson) is a dangerous criminal. It’s pretty shocking MacFarlane was able to squeeze out a novel, given that he’s producing three TV shows (Family Guy, American Dad!, Dads) with two more on the way (Cosmos, Bordertown) in addition to the aforementioned movie he directed, co-wrote, produced, and starred in.
