At times, last night’s Golden Globes ceremony seemed to be unusually packed with dead air. Sometimes the reasons were technical (TelePrompTer errors), sometimes personal (acceptance speeches with long, naplike pauses), and sometimes logistical (the Breaking Bad winners sat nonsensically far from the stage, resulting in a trudge to the podium that more than used up the BB theme music). Frankly, unless a winner was placed in the front section of tables, it seemed to take them forever to get to the stage. Watch this supercut and relive all the uncomfortably quiet moments in between the action. Thanks to the subject matter, it’s unintentionally artsy: Will this video win a Globe next year?
