As you might have expected, Amy Poehler was the perfect first guest for the Late Night with Seth Meyers debut. After a slightly unsteady monologue, Meyers was instantly at ease with Poehler, bantering about her Golden Globe and their SNL past. Of course, Amy Poehler is so warm, she’d probably be anyone’s ideal first guest. The woman is so great, it’s easy to look past her feud with George Clooney, her overweening love of stardom and her absolutely toxic sexual history with Fred Armisen.
