Wolverine and Jean Valjean have plenty in common (a dark complicated backstory, excellent hair, razor-sharp claws) but most importantly, they’ve both been brought to the silver screen via the corporeal form of one Mr. Hugh Jackman. BBC 1’s The Matt Edmondson Show wrote a charming little number by the name of “Wolverine the Musical,†which the Prisoners actor used to plug X-Men: Days of Future Past, though the song really should be entitled “Hugh Jackman’s Sick Body and the Lifestyle Choices He’s Made to Maintain It the Musical.†Either way, Jackman’s ability to commit 125% to everything he does remains unparalleled.
