Kristen Wiig might be known for her manic charisma, but she can also sell it as a bleary-eyed sad sack, as evidenced by the trailer for her upcoming film Hateship Loveship. Based on the Alice Munro story collection Hateship, Friendship, Courtship, Loveship, Marriage, the movie features Wiig as a nanny tricked by her charge (Hailee Steinfeld) into thinking the girl’s father (Guy Pearce) is in love with her. Based on the trailer, things seem to turn out okay for everyone, so we’re just going to believe that’s the case, at least until the film comes out on April 11.
