Here’s the new trailer for Hateship Loveship, a film based on a short story by Alice Munro adapted for the screen by Mark Poirier. Kristen Wiig stars as a shy and socially awkward woman named Johanna who is hired by a man (Nick Nolte) to look after his teenage granddaughter (Hailee Stanfeld), only to be tricked into falling in love with her widowed father (Guy Pearce). Wiig has been delving deeper into dramatic film roles lately, and if this trailer is any indication, Hateship Loveship could be the film that puts her at the top of the comedy/drama crossover game. The film hits theaters for a limited release on April 11th.
