Two months after taking over Late Night and a day after being named one of Time’s 100 most influential people, TV Line reports that Seth Meyers has signed on to host this year’s Emmy Awards, which will air August 25th on NBC. This makes Meyers’s first big-time awards hosting gig since the ESPY Awards and the White House Correspondents both in 2011.
