Watch a Trailer for Paul Haggis’s Third Person

It’s been a little less than ten years since the release of Crash and a little more than nine years since the backlash to Crash. The time since hasn’t been too kind to Paul Haggis as a director, whose two films In the Valley of Elah and The Next Three Days went on to be non-events. Now Haggis is back with Third Person. Starring Liam Neeson, Mila Kunis, Adrien Brody, James Franco, Olivia Wilde, Maria Bello, Kim Basinger, and Moran Atias, it tells the story of three tangentially connected couples in New York, Rome, and Paris, and the crazy, yell-y stuff that happens to them. The film is screening at the Tribeca Film Festival later this month, with a wide release coming later in the year. Watch the international trailer below — even if you don’t think you’ll like the movie, at least it will put you on your way to learning very specific Japanese.
