It’s either been a wonderful or depressing couple days for Jon Stewart. First, Stephen Colbert came on The Daily Show to talk about leaving The Colbert Report, implicitly rubbing in that he’s going to host The Late Show. And now, last night, John Oliver came by to explicitly rub in how much better his life is now that he’s working on a weekly HBO show. In all serious, that’s not true. He also came on to show how good he looks when the majority of a show’s suit budget is spent on him.
