Bob Odenkirk may be releasing his first comedy album sometime soon. Odenkirk is holding a taping at LA’s NerdMelt Theater next Thursday night under the name “Bob Odenkirk - Amateur Hourâ€Â with the description promising that he’ll be performing “all the material he can print out or remember†and that the event is a “possible album recording?†The show, which is presumably standup, is being put on by AST Records, who would be releasing the hypothetical album. The album is just the latest in a string of projects from Odenkirk, including the Breaking Bad spinoff Better Call Saul, the upcoming season of IFC’s The Birthday Boys (which he produces), and his first solo book, a collection of short pieces called A Load of Hooey.
