Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele are working on a new digital series. Variety reports that the Comedy Central duo are producing Ithamar Has Nothing to Say for YouTube network Maker Studios. The six-episode series will star Ithamar Enriquez, an alum of Second City Chicago who has guest starred on Key & Peele and Arrested Development, and it’ll feature Key and Peele as guest stars in one episode. Ithamar is also produced by Principato-Young and comedian Frank Caeti.
Each episode finds Enriquez trying to fit into different facets of American culture, with him not uttering a single word. Episodes involve him trying to fit in at a cool coffee shop, exploring jazz music, and pitching a movie to some Hollywood execs (Key and Peele). In addition to Ithamar Has Nothing to Say, Key and Peele are busy with a whole slew of projects, including working on the fourth season of their Comedy Central show, writing a movie for Judd Apatow, developing an animated show for Comedy Central, and producing a Police Academy reboot.
