Netflix and Marvel’s Daredevil might’ve lost its showrunner, but they seemed to have found something more important – their Daredevil. Charlie Cox will play Matt Murdock, the comic book’s blind lawyer/red-suited crime fighter. The British Cox, if anything, is best known Stateside for playing Owen Slater on Boardwalk Empire. Cox will have some big shoes to fill, taking over the role once played by Ben Affleck, you know, just because Affleck is really tall, so you’d imagine he wears pretty big shoes – though, to be fair, they’ll probably just get Cox a new costume.
