With X-Men: Days of Future Past set to hit theaters this weekend, it seems like a good time to check in with Matthew Vaughn, the director of X-Men: First Class, who surprisingly stepped down from the franchise. The below is what he has been up to. Kingsman: The Secret Service is an adaptation of the comic book created by Dave Gibbons and Mark Millar, the creator of Kick-Ass. The film stars Colin Firth as a James Bond type who recruits his thug nephew into a secret British spy agency. It looks pretty cool and very British. The film opens on October 24 and will surely be a Halloween favorite for bros who just wanted to wear a suit and call it a costume anyway.
